Murafeek applies European-grade protection in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Although our company is registered in Egypt, all personal data are stored and processed on secure servers in Germany (EU), ensuring GDPR-level protection and lawful cross-border transfers.

Categories of Personal Data
- Location (essential): precise or approximate location used to show nearby partners and enable app functionality.
You may disable location in your device settings, but parts of the app will not function properly without it. - Email (essential): used for registration, verification, communication, and account recovery.
- Photos (optional): any photos you upload to your profile or reviews. You remain the owner; Murafeek only displays them within the platform.
- Usage & device data: IP address, logs, preferences, device information.
We do not collect biometric, payment card, or sensitive personal data.
Why We Use Your Data
- Contract necessity: to operate the app, show nearby services, verify users, and maintain secure access.
- Legitimate interests: analytics, fraud prevention, and service improvement.
- Consent: for marketing or optional cookies (you can withdraw anytime).
Storage Location & Protection
All data are stored on secure servers physically located in Germany (European Union).
Transfers between Egypt (where Murafeek is established) and Germany comply with GDPR cross-border data rules (Art. 44–49) and ensure equivalent protection under EU law.

Account Termination
Murafeek may suspend or delete user or partner accounts without prior notice in case of legal violation, fraud, or behavior harmful to the platform’s integrity or reputation.
